I talked to Len Pringle at Tele Wave yesterday. There has been a hold up on making the duplexes as Motorola did not give him the correct frequencies. I gave him our correct frequencies for our repeater pair. He will have the duplexes assembled and tested within two weeks. Ron Harmon of Motorola tells me the arms and coaxial cables are in place waiting for the duplexes. He also told me that they put the arms and coaxial cables on the new tower in the corporation yard. That is on the tower with the cell site not on the tower that was mostly empty. He says the "old" tower with almost nothing on it is scheduled to come down one day. Ron says our antennas have been located at the 80 foot level of the very busy tower. That explains why I did not see any progress when I looked for the arms on the tower. I am not sure we are properly communicating with Motorola or that they know what they are doing or what we really want. I'm not sure I have ever seen any operation as out of control as this Motorola operation with the City of Sunnyvale. 73, Howard, N6HM 3:20:30 PM Tuesday, July 08, 2003 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ SARES members mailing list: <sares-list@sunnyvaleares.org> For help with (un)subscription send e-mail to <majordomo@athm.net>Received on Tue Jul 8 15:24:29 2003
