Hello. Thanks to Bob Gundrum, KG6MOL, for reminding me about this topic. I took the class online earlier this year, and I also took the test online. After scoring a passing grade the FEMA mailed me a nice certificate (it also counts as 1.0 CEU for those who need that). Best of all: It's free and you learn something new every day. The online ICS course is at http://training.fema.gov/EMIWeb/IS/is195lst.asp I did make a printed copy of the course material and have it spiral-bound into a book. I will bring it to the December SARES meeting if anyone is interested. Once you are there, I highly recommend that you are there you look around in the other emergency preparedness course material that is offered by FEMA in their library section at http://training.fema.gov/EMIWeb/IS/crslist.asp 73, andreas K6OTT +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ SARES members mailing list: <sares-list@sunnyvaleares.org> For help with (un)subscription send e-mail to <majordomo@athm.net>Received on Mon Oct 13 21:24:12 2003
