Although I can't participate in the event itself, I do have a Kenwood TS-440 HF rig that could be used (it has been used for SARES
field day in the past).
This HF rig includes SSB and CW filters, and I have a keyer and paddle if need be. You'll have to supply power and an antenna.

Subject: [SARES] Mobile / Portable Base Station

Does any member have a rig, on any frequency, that is mobile and/or portable. We are looking for a station(s) that we can operate
at Fire Station #2 from a table top. Understand that there is a QSO contest during the time we would be operating, therefore the
radio traffic could be automatic. I do have a tripod that could be used to support a free standing antenna mast. Perhaps Lt.
Farley could obtain permission for us to temporarily mount an antenna to the top of the 4-story training tower??????

The date is Saturday, Oct. 1 with the times from 6:30 AM to 12:00 Noon. I am looking for two members, minimum, for two 6:30 > 9:30
AM & 9:00 AM > 12:00 Noon. There are currently 2 openings for the first shift and 1 opening for the second shift.
