The following SARES members have advised they plan to participate in the
Saturday (4/22) exercise between 2 & 4 PM:
    N6HM       Howard
    K6OTT      Andreas
    KG6TJJ      Joanne
    AA6WK     Skip
    WA6OCP   Neal
    KG6KZV    Rick
    KG6MOL   Bob

If there are any others planning to participate, please advise Bob
(*pafidt@rawbw.com*).

The goal of this exercise is for all agencies, including Santa Clara
County EOC, to exercise their "RESOURCE NET". I am including frequency
information for contact of Santa Clara County, if you need to contact
them before SARES is on the air [SARES Resource Net 145.170 (-) PL 94.8
<repeater>, SARES Tactical 147.405 <simplex>].
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
/We (Santa Clara County) will be operating the *Resource Net on AA6BT/R,
146.115(+) PL 100*., linked to the N6NAC/R 444.625(+) PL 110.9. We will
also be operating the *Message Net on W6TI/R, 147.36(+) PL 110.9*, and
packet on 144.91, and 223.66. We will monitor the Command net on
WB6ZVW/R 442.500(+) PL 100.0./
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Something to consider, the SARES Emergency Procedure (currently under
review by Cherel & Craig) indicates that any member can start our
resource net from home on the repeater, until the EOC is in operation.
Basically the member is operating as Net Control (NC) should assign
SARES members a location (EC/AECs to PS Hqs. - #1 All fire stations, #2
All schools) near them. NC shall maintain an assignment list, until
relieved by the Radio Room Operator, at which time NC should relay
assignment info to the Radio Room, who will then become NC.

This is a *NO RELOCATION exercise, *you can stay in you radio shack for
this drill.

 Below are suggested examples of damage reports you could transmit, we
(SARES) are open to other examples of damage. ALSO is the suggested
method of contact to be used at 2 PM./ In BLUE above./ Howard & I plan
to be at Public Safety in our radio room and will at some point be on
the air for Sunnyvale radio traffic. This might be shortly after 2 PM
or "longly" after 2 PM.
