Please report in on the SARES repeater ASAP. We may need radio
operators perhaps this evening or on Monday, July 24.
As some of you might be aware, there are several power outages in the
Sunnyvale area, Casa De Amigos Mobile Home Park has been without
electricity for a day and a half. The city is opening a shelter at the
Columbia Center on Morse btn Maude & Hwy 101. Craig is currently
en-route back to the city and will advise as to our need to assist. At
this point there are no definite plans, BUT we could be ask to provide
one operator per mobile home park or area without power to provide a
communications link to the rest of the city.
If you are willing to assist please advise me on the repeater.
