There has been enough interest so I am going ahead with the group 
battery order for the 20 amp hour batteries.  I would like each city to 
have a person to collect the orders and the money.  Please let me know 
the name of the person you get to run this if you want to participate.  
I will need the orders by September 15.  The money I will need by 
October 1.  I will arrange for you to pickup the batteries after Pacific 
Con.  The person that I am going thru will not be at the next flea 
market.  I do want to stress that I need each city to take their own 
orders but I think the price makes it worth while.
 
Here is the description of the batteries.  They are NEW 12 volt 20 Ah 
batteries from HKbiL.  The model number is HK-6FM20.0.  This model is 
not listed on their Webb site.  The dimensions are 7"w by 6.5"h by 3" 
d.  The weight is about 14 lbs.  You need screws and nuts to attach your 
leads to the terminals.
 
I will have a battery on display at Cubberly community center parking 
lot by the signal on Middlefield road this Monday night from 7 PM to 8 
PM.  You will be able to get directions on 147.540 simplex if you are 
near by. Come on San Antonio road and we can talk you in from there.  I 
will also have one at the September flea market.  Come to where we sell 
the vendors their spots.
