I myself was diagnosed with breast cancer just in November and have already had a lumpectomy in December, but they didn't get all the cancer and it is in my lymph nodes, so I will be going into a mastectomy/lymphectomy on Jan 22nd, two weeks from today. I appreciate any positive thoughts and prayers of support as I face this hard time ahead with chemo following within 10 days after the surgery and going on for the next year or more. I have always appreciated the dedicated work and support of the amateur radio community through all my years of working in OES in two counties. We all have to stick together during the tough times, and this happens to be mine. Sincerely, Pat Jocius, KB6VLK SARES member since 1986 and Past OES coordinator of the Cities of Sunnyvale, Cupertino, San Mateo and Santa Clara County OES Manager +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ SARES members mailing list: <sares-list@sunnyvaleares.org> For help with (un)subscription send e-mail to <majordomo@athm.net>Received on Wed Jan 10 21:17:54 2007
