[SARES] Field Day - 2007

    Well, Field Day - 2007 has come and gone, we were there, we worked, 
we played, we got tired, we had FUN!!!!!  I would like to thank ALL 
those that participated at ANY level.  Due to us missing some members 
when extending THANK YOUs, I will just extend 'thanks' to all that 
participated.  Though we must give special recognition to Roger ~AA#AP~ 
and Jim ~N6WKY~ for their efforts in organizing and keeping us on track 
and making this another successful Field Day for SARES.
    The preliminary results are in and we did a little better than last 
year, + 4 points.  The total points, at this point is subject to change 
are 1394 points.  This is but a small step, but a step in the right 
direction.  We did have problems with RF noise, as did other stations, 
so the contacts we had were harder to hear.  We did have more 
participants / visitors (66) which also helped.  In the bonus point 
area, we owe a big thanks to Michael ~K6MFW~ who set up an ATV demo 
system.  This gave us an unexpected additional 100 pts. - THANK YOU Michael.
    A big "HiHi" to all our members.
