We are revising the time for radio monitoring from 8:00 a.m. to *9:00 a.m.* For those members that will be assigned to schools, the following is the agreement we made with the Superintendent of the Sunnyvale Elementary School District, Dr. Joseph W. Rudnicki. SARES members will contact the main office of the school and advise "they are participating in a statewide emergency preparedness exercise,and will be located in the parking lot". It might be a good idea to give school staff a description of you vehicle. Let them know you will probably be there for an hour or less. Further when you are released from your assignment you will recontact school staff to advise you are leaving the area. All SARES members participating in Golden Guardian will display their City of Sunnyvale, Department of Public Safety photo ID, just as they would during an actual emergency.
