Hi,

I know about the pain since my company 'upgraded' most but not all of
the machine population to Microsoft Office 2007.

If you care to save your documents in a format others can read with older
versions of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and also with Openoffice-2.*,
Google Documents and a number of other programs, you can change the
'Save As' file format on a per file basis. If you always want to save
your documents always in a backwards compatible format, please do this:

Open 'Orb' (the upper left round button with the Office logo)
-> bottom tab on that window is 'Word Options' or
	'Excel Options'
-> Save
-> Pulldown menu on top
	'Excel 97-2003 Workbook (*.xls) [NOT (*.xlsx)]	or
	'Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc) [NOT (*.docx)]
