----- Forwarded Message ---- From: Electronics Flea Market Announcements <efm@INTERNET. svpal.org> Sent: Wednesday, March 5, 2008 2:29:05 PM Subject: [EFM] Electronics Flea Market - Saturday, March 8th It's time for the Electronics Flea Market at De Anza College this Saturday, March 8th from 5:00 AM 'til noon. This is the first one for 2008! The weather for the flea market is predicted to be chilly, with a low of 45F and a high of 68F. The early morning will be bit chilly but the later morning will be nice. It's expected to be partly sunny. Sunrise is 6:28AM. Your host and beneficiary for this month's market is the Southern Peninsula Emergency Communications System (SPECS) (http://www.specsnet.org/). More information and directions may be found at the Electronics Flea Market web site at http://www.electronicsfleamarket.com/ These flea markets are organized by ASVARO (Association of Silicon Valley Amateur Radio Organizations http://www.asvaro.org/) as a fund raising activity for local amateur radio organizations. Note that the vendor fee is $20 for two parking spaces. The fee is collected upon entry. Buyers enter the market for free, but the college charges $2 to park on campus. Most off campus parking is restricted and not recommended. Under California law electronics waste and batteries may not be dumped into the trash. These items must be recycled. Only ordinary trash is to be placed into trash receptacles at the flea market. Vendors must take all their unsold material with them when they leave. Don't leave "Free" items behind. Check the ASVARO web site at http://www.electronicsfleamarket.com/recycle for more details on what materials may not be dumped into the trash. Also find locations that accept electronic waste for recycling (generally for free). ----- End forwarded message ----- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ SARES members mailing list: <sares-list@INTERNET. sunnyvaleares.org> For help with (un)subscription send e-mail to <majordomo@INTERNET. athm.net>Received on Thu Mar 06 2008 - 01:02:01 GMT
