[SARES] Simplex Net

    I want to THANK Phil (K6PHL) for operating the Simplex net last 
evening and volunteering to collect data to make an evaluation of our 
simplex ability to cover the City of Sunnyvale.

    More importantly, I want to say THANK YOU to all who participated 
and respond to Phil with your evaluation of how things happened at your 
operating location.  It is possible that someday SARES may be required 
to operate simplex to cover all or a portion of the city during an 
event.  Knowing that we can cover the city will give US confidence as 
well as let the city leaders rest easier knowing that we are there with 
or without the repeater(s).
