Last Monday (24 March) following the normal duplex (repeater) check-in, we conducted the first trial of a simplex check-in (to you old-timers: 1st. in several years :-). Attached is a spreadsheet summary of the results. Note that we learned from this 1st. exercise that we need to clarify a couple of items: In future simplex trials we would ask that you check in with two items of information: your transmit power level (this may need to be approximate) and whether you are using a tall (roof top mount, mag-mount, etc.) antenna, or a simple HT antenna.
