opportunity this Saturday (4/5/08).  The class is FREE and only needs 
your donated time.

The next Santa Clara County ARES/RACES Advanced Emergency Communications 
Training class will be this Saturday, April 5, at the Santa Clara County 
Sheriff's building at 55 W. Younger, San Jose, from 0900 to 1200. The 
class will be on Forms - the various forms that we can expect to use 
during major emergencies, and the need for documentation of our actions 
and messages during emergencies. You must register for this class - you 
can do so by going to our county ARES/RACES web site - 
http://www.scc-ares-races.org, and follow the instructions found on that 
site regarding registration for Advanced Emergency Communications Training.
 
This class was given last year; if you took the class last year, you do 
not need to take it again. However, a year is a long time, and I 
recommend that you consider taking the class again, so that you will 
have refreshed your memory about these forms when the time comes that 
you need to use them.
 
MACs and those who want to become MACs: If you have NOT taken the class 
yet, you should definitely try to come to this class - this class 
is part of the required training for MACs.
 
Don't remember if you took the class last year? Email me and I will 
check our database.
