Thanks to all those who tried to resolve my inability to connect with the SARES Channel 1 (Main Repeater) today. It finally figured out the problem, but unfortunately after the Simulated Flood Exercise was completed. As proposed my one of the SARES members at the Sunnyvale Public Safety facility, the repeater was not receiving my 94.8 Hz Pl tone. On the ancient, but still quite viable HXT-202 and HXT-404, you are able to enter a mode where you set the PL tone. What I did not do was to activate the tone.
